The "Aspirin Buster---bow & arrow razzle dazzle"
"Have Bow--Will Travel" tour in
Tulsa, Oklahoma at The Mid-South Whitetail Classic
The Mid-South Whitetail Classic
featured lots to see & do the weekend of February 23-25th in Tulsa,
Oklahoma! There were plenty of activities for the entire family,
including inflated rides for the kids, bullriding on a mechanical bull,
rattlesnakes & a snake show, The Dock Dogs from Cabela's, plus a display
of other animals, mounted life size trophy whitetail, plus booths that
featured the latest hunting equipment, deer stands, guides & outfitters, a
3-D archery range, and many more activities.
When it comes to entertainment
for the entire family, this show pulled out all the stops! It was
impressive to see how hard the promoter had worked to get family style
activities worked into the show. It was a great place where a family
could easily spend the biggest part of an afternoon walking around,
watching seminars, looking at booths and participating in activities.
I was happy to bring some "bow &
arrow razzle dazzle" to the event's second year show. We enjoyed good
crowds and had a great time. Jason Henson was my assistant for the
weekend and did a great job.
I did two TV appearances and two
LIVE radio interviews while at the event. The Tulsa paper also had
mentioned my show. It was good to be in Tulsa, a town with great folks
and WHAT-A-BURGER restaurants nearby! (Home of my very favorite
cheeseburger...)
Jason and I repeated the three
arrows---three baby aspirin shot like I'd done in Indy the week before.
It gets a great response from the audience every time. I would like to
thank the promoter, Jason and everyone else at Tulsa that made the show a
blast. This is a young show but I look for big things to come from this
event. They have the right idea and the folks that did attend this year
all seemed to be having a big time.
Like the song says, "Take me
back to Tulsa...."

tour heads to Dixie Deer Classic and then off to the West Coast
This will mark my 3rd visit to
the famous Dixie Deer Classic. My first appearance there was around 1989
and then again in 2005. This is a great show and we always have a big
time. I'll be there the first weekend in March.
The Fred Hall Show in Long
Beach, Ca is one of our next stops! This is a huge show and I look
forward to doing the media and shows at this event! Howard Hill was the
last archer they had at this show!
